It is the goal of CAAM to turn no need away.  Thus far we have been successful in accomplishing this goal.  CAAM is a 501(C)3 non-profit.  Our umbrella of staff is very costly and comprehensive but through grace we have been able to serve and survive!

Q: What is the best way to get my child involved with a CAAM counselor?
A: CAAM has been marketed to local churches in the Memphis-Metro Area.  Your church may subscribe to our service and therefore your costs are covered by your local church! You would need to contact your pastor to families or pastor to students and get an initial evaluation form and referral to bring to our office.

Q:  We don’t go to church or have a church home so what do we do?
A:  Call our office.  Your initial needs assessment is free.  Therapy sessions cost 30.00 per half hour session. Adolescents in crisis and needing multiple sessions per week are given discounted rates.

Q:  What about medical expenses and insurance?
A:   CAAM only provides referrals to physicians, psychiatrists, and psychologists on an as needed basis.  If you have no insurance you will be responsible for all of these costs including medication. These are professional people that have no direct obligation or partnership with CAAM.  They are professionals we have found that help our clients.  Check your insurance for mental health coverage.

Q:  I have no money, no insurance, and I need help.
A:  Call our office.  We will help you based on need.  This usually requires your partnership with a member church of CAAM of your choosing.

Q: We don’t go to church or want to go that route, so what does it cost?
A:  You will be billed at 30.00 per half hour session with your counselor.  This payment is expected at the time services are rendered.  We will never turn anyone away for lack of money! At least our initial assessment can get you pointed toward the help you need.
